Alexis Jang is an illustrator and painter working and living in Berlin, Germany. A native of Korea, Jang moved to New York at the age of 19 and now works and lives in Berlin, Germany. The artist has always been inspired by the idea of 'home' and although being an outsider forever has always been an option for her, she is still fascinated by the idea of adapting or settling down. Loneliness also plays an important role, something that all human beings experience, but most intensely at this time, more than ever before. The artist attempts to convey the "feeling of happiness" through the familiar, feminine and sometimes absurd lens of her work.
